We were invited to shoot an exclusive party for Rolex last week in Manchester Hall, a stunning location for this elite occasion. During the event Rolex used the occasion to showcase their latest releases to selected VIP guests and launched their new 2018 collection.

Last weekend Tangerine Photography was asked to shoot Catherine’s special birthday party, the theme for the event was 80s/90s artist. Catherine held pre-drinks at Launderette Bar which was followed by a bus tour around Manchester, and Murder Mystery event in Manchester235 Casino

For the second year running, we were invited back by UCLAN’s to shoot the Music Theatre’s end of the year ball. It was a pleasure to be a part of this event, everyone made a great effort in the evening, celebrating another year of success. For this special event we setup our portable studio for the students to have their formal photos taken upon arrival. Later on we took candid shots of the students as they celebrated. Throughout the night, we were on hand for any photo request; making sure the students have plenty of memories from the night.

Creative Head Magazine is the UK’s leading magazine for hairdressing professionals. They held another instalment of their famous Coterie sessions in Manchester (for the first time). This session was all about branding, discussing how hairdressers and salons can stand out from the crowd; creating their own path and their own area in the industry. With guest speakers Jayson Gray, Bruce Masefield and Yolanda O’Leary, it was an intriguing session. Here are some of the highlights from the evening:

The 24th March 2018 marked the first ever B&B day, it was a day to recognise all the incredible achievements and the contribution that independent hosts and hoteliers make to the hospitality industry.
Evivvo, the UK’s most popular booking site for B&Bs, guest houses and independent hotels sent branded taxis to deliver hamper baskets to their sponsors. The drops included: Key103, Capital Radio Manchester, BBC radio Manchester, Late Rooms and Manchester Evening News. We captured the drops and supplied the images within the hour for publication.

Molly Maid, one of UK’s longest serving cleaning service with over 30 years’ experience, held their annual convention at Rookery Hall Hotel in Cheshire. The convention was concluded with an awards evening, celebrating the company’s best performers in 2017. We provided the event photography throughout the convention and awards evening as well as providing on site prints for the guests to take home.

The weird and wonderful Junkyard Golf Club in Manchester, hosted a special event on Valentine's Day this year in conjunction with Love Support Unite charity. It was a fun evening for a great cause as all golf proceeds were donated to the charity. Here are some of our highlights:

The Manchester boutique for the fashion giant, Chanel, celebrated their 10th year anniversary recently. The boutique invited their most loyal customers for an intimate evening of drinks followed by a formal dinner. We were invited to shoot this exclusive event at the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester, the venue was spectacular and the views of the grounds allowed for beautiful, eye catching scenery. Google hosted a cocktail and canapé evening to promote the Google Pixel 2 phone as well as their other new products at Cloud 23 Bar in Manchester last weekend. The event showcased the features of these products and had a question and answer session with fashion and lifestyle influencer, In The Frow.
Guests had also the opportunity to meet with In The Frow, as well as having their nails done to match the curated Pixel phone cases and received a free gift at the end of the evening.

For our first job of 2018, we were photographing the call up ceremony for Toby’s Bar Mitzvah. The following Saturday, we headed to Radisson Blu Hotel in Manchester Airport, to shoot the Bar Mitzvah celebrations. The theme of the special event was winter wonderland, and the decorations were carefully picked to match the important event in Toby’s life. The room looked stunning, making it a joy to photograph. With his family and friends in full attendance, this was a fantastic, upbeat celebration for Toby’s Bar Mitzvah.

We had a great opportunity to work with the Ideal Home Show back in November. They took over the entire Event City and held three shows: ‘Eat & Drink’, ‘Cake & Bake’ and the ‘Ideal Home Showcase’. Over the three days of the event, we shot various live demonstrations, celebrity appearances including Great British Bake Off Winner Candice Brown, The Italian super chef, Gino D’acampo and Chanel 4 Favourites Gregg Wallace and Max Brown to name but a few. For the 4th year running we shot CHEP’s Christmas party. Every year the company throws an amazing party to celebrate the end of the year, and it did not disappoint this year. The party was held at On The 7th Private Bar in Media City, and with live band and prize giveaways, it was a memorable night.

The homeware giant retailer, Dunelm, closed its town centre store and moved to the brand new premises in Junction 9 Retail Park. The store was officially opened by the Mayor of Warrington. Plenty of locals were in attendance to check out the new store and took advantage of the great offers on display.

The latest surprise birthday party we shot this year was for Simone’s 30th. Organised by her family and friends, it was a shock to say the least for Simone. This event was very well-designed by the family, with the party taking place in a magical giant tipi. Although it was a very cold night, inside the tipi was rather warm with the open fire pit. Guests were kept entertained with a free bar, homemade pizza and with the entertainment provided by Six15 Artist Management. We would like to say a special thank you to the family of Simone for making us feel so very welcome at this special event, it was a great party and a pleasure to photograph.

For Halloween we shot the Day of the Dead themed event at Junkyard Golf Club. Junkyard, which has recently moved premises to Home, put on a fantastic event with fire performers, magicians and suitably spooky décor. This Halloween even was very enjoyable to photograph and we highly recommend visit this venue for a mini-golf fun!

Recently, we were commissioned by Watches of Switzerland to shoot the exclusive launch of their new flagship store in Manchester. The store refurbishment took an impressive three months to complete, with £1.2 million spent on the design. This luxury trademark is dedicated to providing Swiss brands such as, Patek Phillipe, Panerai, Hublot, Zenith, IWC, Omega and Rolex to name a few. The evening event was attended by a selected few members showcasing some of the most exclusive watches in the UK.

Visit Denmark tourism agency invited their tour operators and agents to it’s very first networking event at Old Trafford in Manchester. The workshop was attended by fellow travel agents exploring tourism in Denmark.
The event was concluded by a raffle draw, with giveaways including a 2 night stay in Copenhagen, Danish giveaways and travel vouchers.

Northern Finance Director Awards celebrates the exceptional talent of Finance Directors and their teams across the North of England. This year the awards was hosted at Radisson Blu Edwardian hotel in Manchester. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners.

Last week I was in the capital for a prestigious event held by Brown Shipley in the iconic House of Commons. Brown Shipley, the private wealth management firm, put this exclusive event for their clients at the prestigious Member’s Dining Room at the House of Commons. The event was hosted by the former MP and current Great British Railway Journeys presenter, Michael Portillo.
