We’ve covered loads of proms and graduations this Summer. Unfortunately I haven’t had time to blog them all, but this particular one deserves an entry. The students at Helsby High Sixth form went all out, displaying planning skills far greater than their actual age of 18! They planned the whole prom themselves with a vegas theme that covered all bases. There were ginormous vegas backdrops for entrance images, a multitude of casino tables for them to get involved in, life size Elvis’s and much more. Here’s a few images from what was a little belter of a prom.
Bit late with this one, knee deep in events at the moment! This, in all honesty was probably one of the best events I’ve ever had the pleasure of covering. A couple of weeks before their wedding party, Jade and Matthew got married in France and this party was a massive celebration for all their family and friends who were unable to attend. The party was at the beautiful venue of The Mere in Cheshire and I love the place, having covered a number of events there.
Guests arrived to a glass of champagne and were ushered into what can only be described as a room of flowers. As I’m a man, I probably shouldn’t say this, but, they were beautiful. After an hour or so mingling, a set of double doors opened and the best party room you've ever seen was unveiled to the guests. There was a swing band that were immense, girls dancing inside 8 foot champagne glasses and much more. The theme was the Great Gatsby and put simply, they’d absolutely nailed it.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings, here’s some of the images from the evening.

Last weekend I went to Revolucion de Cuba in Manchester to cover Lisa's Hen Party. Surrounded by woman, my ideal day ! Only joking Helen hehe! (that's my better half and she was on the hen party) Anyway, the girls had an awesome day, starting off with a cocktail making session downstairs. The better they got at making them, the quicker they were getting thrown down their throats! After that the girls went upstairs for some food and I provided some candid coverage of this part of the day.
Here's some of my favourites from the day, hope you all enjoy.

On Friday we were back at the Mercure in Manchester, this time covering the graduation of Manchester's finest dentists! All of the guests there had just qualified and will no doubt be coming to a dentist near you very soon to cause you immense pain. Thankfully, they didn't cause me any pain and were a superb bunch to capture.
On arrival, we snapped some formal shots for them, then spent a while in the main room capturing some candid stuff. Here's a few of my favourites from the night. Enjoy people.

Last night we made our way to the Peace Centre in Warrington to cover the annual European meet for the 'Round Table'. The organisers opted for our unlimited download package, so all the guests could download their images for free from our Client Galleries section.
We were initially supposed to be capturing the 'entry shots' against our mobile backdrop, but with the sun beating down, it was far too nice to be inside.
This was a lovely event to cover and all the guests were a joy to meet. Here's a few early edits from last night ... 'Peace' out man (see what I did there!)

This weekend we were off to Bolton to cover the birthday party of little Mia. There were party games, candy floss and One Direction on loop, what more could a 6 year old want. The kids had a great time and here's just a few of the very early edits from the day.
It's not just private parties, proms and black tie events we cover ... from time to time we also get asked to cover a variety of corporate events. The latest one was the relaunch of the Dunelm Store in Blackpool following a multi million pound refit.
We were tasked with capturing both the layout of the store and the multitude of departments, but the company also wanted some natural shots to document a 'day in the life' of the store; customers, interaction etc. We obviously also captured the official ribbon cutting ceremony and staff shots etc. It was a real pleasure to cover this event for such a well known high street brand and the management team and every single staff member at the store was a pleasure to deal with.
Here's a few shots from the day.
On Sunday, we we're at the beautiful Victoria Hotel in Oldham to cover a Silver Wedding Anniversary for a lovely couple. Their closest family and friends joined them to celebrate 25 years of married life; some feat in this day and age! The family opted for our Silver Party Photography package, providing them with three hours coverage and all edited images on DVD.
Here's a few of my favourite images from what was a superb day.

We've shot a number of Christenings of late and we bloody love 'em! Here's the Christening of the little cutie Jack! The Christening was at the Alkrington & Providence Church in Middleton, then we headed down the road to The Middleton Archer to capture some party shots for the family.
If you've got a christening coming up, have a look at our party & celebration packages and see what we can offer you.
Anyway, here's a few of our favourite shots from the main man Jack's Christening. Enjoy people!

Last Sunday we covered a couple of christenings. The first one is the christening of the ridiculously cheeky and cute brothers, Joseph and Matthew. The boys behaved like an absolute dream throughout.
If your child's christening is coming up, take a look at our party and celebration packages; with two hours coverage at just £99.00, including all high res images, there's really no reason not to have professional photography coverage of your child's christening.
Here's a few of my favourite shots from their lovely christening.

On Friday we were down at the Mercure Hotel in Manchester to cover the Chemical Engineering Society Ball for Manchester University. We provided the university with our 'all-inclusive' package, allowing all guests to download their images from our client galleries in full high-res. Upon arrival we captured guests against our mobile studio setup. We then roved round the room capturing some candid shots of the guests. Here's some of those images. Enjoy people.
On Sunday gone, I headed off to Manchester to cover a 1st birthday party and what a belter of a party it was. The kids looked like they were having a lovely time; there was a bouncy castle, pass the parcel, smash the life out of a paper mache donkey (I don't think that's the actual name of it) mickey and minnie mouse and more importantly, loads of sweets. I had a good few sweets myself; not because I'm greedy, purely for energy, these kids can move fast and I had to be able to keep up with them !
Here's some of the early edits from the event. Hope you enjoy them.

Saturday night saw us venture to Liverpool to cover a 40th Wedding Anniversary for a lovely family who we’ve covered multiple events for in the past. 40 years, some time that isn’t it?! As my Dad would say, “you’d get less for murder.” Thankfully, there were no murders, just a couple who’s love was still quite clearly in abundance and evident for all to see.
Here’s a few of the very early edits from this event. Enjoy my blog reading friends.

On Friday night, we were at the delightful Briars Hall Hotel in Ormskirk to cover the PTA Ball to raise money for the local school. Not only did we attend for free, but we also donated £60.00 to the school, adding to their funds to raise money for extra IT equipment. Don't tell us, there's no such thing as a free lunch!
If you've got a black tie event coming up this Spring/Summer, check out out black tie event photography packages. What's not to like? Free attendance and a donation to your charity... no brainer!

On Saturday I was down at the Hallmark Hotel in Cheshire to cover Hilary's 40th. A belter of a night seemed to be had by all the guests and the first time I've ever seen a dance-floor absolutely packed to capacity ... probably something to do with the free cocktails!
Here's a few shots from this great event. Enjoy.
A few months ago, I got an enquiry to cover a joint 30th birthday party for a couple who were both turning thirty. However, there was a curve ball. During this '30th Party', the couple were in fact getting married at the party, which only them, their best friends and me knew about! So, the hundred and odd guests who turned up at half seven had no idea they were in fact going to a wedding!
They wanted the wedding to just be 'part of the party'. I thought this was an absolute belter of an idea, as being a man right in the throws of planning my own wedding (or, if truth be told, watching my better half plan it), the stresses and strains of it all can sometimes be too much, or so I'm told. So, all hail the newly wed Lauren and Mike, a lovely couple and the world's best covert wedding planners. It was an absolute pleasure to cover your party/wedding and I wish you all the best in your future together.
This afternoon we were at Manzil in Manchester to cover a children's birthday party. The kids seemed to have a fantastic afternoon and here's a few of my favourite shots from the day. Enjoy.
On Saturday we were also in Manchester to cover a 40th party. Just 24 hours after the event, we've received this lovely feedback from Gordon who booked us. We really do try and go over and above to ensure the images we capture and present to you tick every box you wanted ticking, then some. Thanks for taking the time to leave such wonderful feedback Gordon, it really is appreciated.
Last night we were off down the M6 to The Function Room in St Helens to cover Andy & Steph's leaving Party. In just over a week they're emigrating to Dallas to chase their dreams, good on 'em that's what I say. Anyway, it was a belter of a night and here's a few of the early edits to prove it! Enjoy blog readers.

This week we covered NCP's annual conference at the Imperial Hotel in Blackpool. The conference started at 8am and ran till 5pm - during this time we provided reportage coverage of the main room and break out groups. Following a quick freshen up, the guests came back down, had their evening meals and then it was party time!
Here's a few of the early edits from the event.
